Russia has sent a wave of drones towards Kyiv overnight. Several explosions were reportedly heard around 1:30 a.m. local time.
At least one building has been hit and started burning, reports the newspaper The Kyiv Independent.
The Black Sea city of Odesa has also been hit by nighttime Russian attacks. As a result, more than 30,000 families are without power, according to the private energy company DTEK, the news agency NTB reports.
Thousands of Kyiv residents are already without power after Friday's extensive Russian attack, which included a hypersonic missile. Half of the city's apartment buildings are reported to have suffered power outages in the attacks, in which at least four people were killed.
At the same time, temperatures in the city are dropping and are now approaching minus 20 degrees Celsius, reports the EFE news agency.
