Netanyahu will travel to Hungary on Wednesday, according to a new message. Hungary's Prime Minister Viktor Orbán went out early and announced that they would invite Israel with guarantees that he would not be arrested.
The ICC's arrest warrant against Netanyahu means that the countries that have signed the court's basic document are obliged to arrest him if he sets foot in any of them.
In November, the ICC issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu and the former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, as they are accused of crimes against humanity and war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
The EU member states have different views on the matter, or have so far avoided taking a clear stance.
Israel denies the allegations and has called the court's decision anti-Semitic. The ICC also issued an arrest warrant against the terrorist-stamped Hamas military chief Mohammed Dayf, who was later confirmed to be dead.
