Nelly was right in the matter but will still have to compensate the counterpart with about 600,000 kronor for court costs, something that Nelly now contradicts.
The background to the court case is that Nelly discovered how Shein used the company's images to market their own clothing. Nelly therefore chose to sue three companies that all belong to the corporate group known by the name Shein.
"Through the appeal, Nelly wants to contribute to a broader discussion about how trade on the digital market needs to be regulated in the future, at the same time as it marks that the issue is about more than a single case," the company writes in a comment to TT.
