Arsenal's star player Myles Lewis-Skelly needed only 20 minutes of his national team debut before he could score 1-0 in the match, after the assist from Jude Bellingham.

Lewis-Skelly made history with the goal, as he is now the youngest player ever in the English men's national team to score a goal in his first national team match, at the age of 18 years and 176 days.

Harry Kane extended to 2-0 with a quarter of an hour left to play on an assist from Declan Rice.

Lewis-Skelly was not England's only debutant for the evening. Newcastle's 32-year-old Dan Burn also started and played his first match for the national team.

The German Tuchel received some criticism after his first team selection last week. Among other things, for the selection of Burn, and other older players like Jordan Henderson and Kyle Walker.

On Monday, the next test awaits Tuchel and England, when they face Latvia in the World Championship qualifiers.
