Elon Musk has donated large sums to Republican campaign organizations, including at least SEK 2.8 billion this quarter alone.
One of the organizations spent just over SEK 1.5 billion of that money on Republican Ken Paxton’s Senate campaign in Texas. Paxton lost to Democrat James Talarico, who proclaimed victory over the world’s richest man, Musk, and “the entire Washington establishment.”
