Over ten people have been shot in an incident at a nightclub in Queens, New York, according to media reports in the USA, citing police and witnesses.
The information came late on Wednesday evening local time. According to unconfirmed eyewitness accounts, several perpetrators opened fire outside the Amazura nightclub in the Jamaica district, where dozens of people were queuing to get in.
Shot victims were later found both outside and inside the club.
Amazura has previously been linked to gang criminality, but the circumstances surrounding the New Year's Day incident are unclear.
