Israeli air raids on targets in Gaza killed at least ten people, according to hospital staff.
Among the fatalities in the attacks in southern Gaza on Saturday was a boy, reports news agency AP.
The Israeli military has not commented on the attacks, which targeted mainly the city of Khan Younis.
According to the health department in Gaza, controlled by the terrorist-designated Hamas, around 60 people have been killed and over 270 injured in Israeli attacks in the past 24 hours.
The raids were carried out while ongoing talks about a ceasefire are underway in Qatar. The parties, Israel and Hamas, are still negotiating through intermediaries. The mediators, the USA, Qatar, and Egypt, are facing resistance mainly from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his representatives, according to AP.
The war between Israel and Hamas began after Islamist groups, led by Hamas, attacked Israel and killed around 1,200 people in October 2023. Around 250 people were then taken hostage by terrorist-designated groups.
