M wants to move the Ministry of Justice to Gothenburg for two weeks and Malmö for two weeks at the beginning of next year.
On site, the police, social services, schools and civil society will work together to develop a situational picture of problems and challenges related to security. A clear aim is to build strong relationships with the local level.
It is unclear how much the move would cost. According to Strömmer, the staff could likely be housed in existing government premises in the localities.
