In Japan, indices are also rising, after stock markets around the world were affected by the war in Iran. The Nikkei 225 is up 2.4 percent, while the broader Topix is up 2.2 percent.
Hong Kong's Hang Seng, on the other hand, is down 0.2 percent. China's Shanghai is also down 0.4 percent. Shenzhen is up 0.1 percent.
