A 32-year-old Swedish man who had been missing in Glomma outside Kongsvinger in Norway has been found dead, writes Norwegian media.
According to NRK finds from a dead person were found in the water under a bridge on Monday and they have since worked to identify the person.
Now the police confirm that it is a man who has been missing since November last year. Verdens Gang writes that the cause of death has not yet been established, but there are no signs that he drowned. According to the newspaper, it will take several months before the autopsy report is completed.
Three men are suspected in connection with the disappearance.
”In connection with the investigation, there is still a need to obtain witness statements from the suspects on a number of points. None of them are required to give a statement to the police, but we will offer them this opportunity soon”, says police inspector Henning Klauseie in a press release.
