Minnesota reaches Stanley Cup quarterfinals with Swedish players

The Dallas team needed a win to keep their dream of advancing to the playoffs alive. When just over half of the game was played, the visitors had taken a 2-1 lead.

However, it didn't even take a minute for Minnesota's Vladimir Tarasenko to equalize.

In the third period, Minnesota pressed hard - and it paid off. The team scored three goals in the last ten minutes of the game, and the final score was 5–2.

Minnesota's Swedish goalkeeper Jesper Wallstedt saved 22 shots and had a save percentage of 91.7%.

Minnesota won the series 4–2. The team also features Swedes Joel Eriksson Ek, Marcus Johansson, Jonas Brodin and Filip Gustavsson.

Colorado awaits in the quarterfinals.
