German Chancellor Friedrich Merz will attend the Moderate Party's Sweden meeting in Stockholm on Saturday, the Moderate Party said in a press release. He will be there in his capacity as party leader of the Moderate Party's German sister party, the CDU.
Merz will give a speech at the Sweden Summit, which can be seen as a prelude to the election for the Moderates. Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) and Finance Minister Elisabeth Svantesson (M) will also speak during the meeting, which begins on Friday.
