The training sessions with the national team this week went so well that U21 national team defender John Mellberg is being promoted to the national team for the upcoming gathering.
The 18-year-old, who plays for RB Salzburg, gets to be part of the entire national team gathering next week for international matches against Hungary and Algeria on June 6 and 10, respectively.
Mellberg gets a spot to observe and learn, writes the national team on the Football Association's website.
When Mellberg is called away, Peter Amoram from Perugia is instead called up to the U21 national team ahead of the international matches against Qatar and Croatia.
