Five intense days in Marbella. Graham Potter and the players have never had more time together. How long will it take to get a national team that has lost its way in the World Cup qualifiers back on track? Here is a match guide.

The chance of reaching the playoffs as group runner-up is minimal. The playoffs will still be in March, thanks to the victory in the Nations League group last year.

For new national captain Potter, it's all about building a strong team after the accident with Jon Dahl Tomasson.

"We're not thinking too much about March right now. It's all about Switzerland and winning that game. If we can be compact as a team, if we can be collectively strong, it gives us a chance to attack and defend," Potter said.

Here is a guide for the World Cup qualifier against Switzerland:

Where: Stade de Geneva.

When: Kick-off 8:45 p.m., Saturday.

TV/radio: Viaplay/P4 radio sport.

Rejection: Taha Ali was forced to turn down the chance to play his first competitive international match. Lucas Bergvall and Hugo Larsson left the squad during their stay in Marbella.

Missing: Mainly Viktor Gyökeres. The striker has started the season strongly at Arsenal. His work capacity, strength and goal scoring ability will be difficult to replace.

Missing for a long time: Dejan Kulusevski has missed the entire qualifiers. A partial explanation for why things have gone so badly for the national team. A Kulusevski in form lifts any team.

Question mark: Alexander Isak. Missed a handful of games with Liverpool due to a groin problem. Has trained during the week, but according to Potter is not a 90-minute player. Team captain Victor Nilsson Lindelöf did not participate in Friday's training.

The opposition: Tablettan Switzerland is playing to celebrate a place in the playoffs in the summer. A draw is enough to get a party started. Right now a clearly stronger team than Sweden. That was not least clear in the 2–0 victory in Solna a month ago. Missing a few players, but not as plagued by injuries to important players as Sweden.
