The transfer fee is 39 million euros, equivalent to 430 million kronor.

Manchester United suspended the Englishman when he was accused of rape and assault by his girlfriend in the autumn of 2022. In early 2023, the investigation was dropped after the girlfriend withdrew her allegations and new evidence was presented.
