Marius Borg Høiby, son of the Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit, has lost his driver's license.

"We can confirm that Marius Borg Høiby currently does not have a driver's license", says Unni Grøndal, press officer at the Oslo police district, to the Norwegian Aftenposten.

According to sources, the Crown Princess's son lost his driver's license after "an incident" in August.

There has been a storm surrounding Høiby since August, when he was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a woman he had a relationship with. He later admitted in a statement to NRK that he had used violence against his girlfriend and stated that he had used alcohol and cocaine at the time.

Since then, several allegations of violence against ex-girlfriends have emerged, and he is also suspected of illegal threats in several cases, according to Norwegian police.
