Marine Le Pen has appealed a verdict from last year that convicted her and other members of the National Rally party of fraud involving EU funds.
Le Pen was sentenced to four years in prison, two of which were suspended. She was also banned from running for office for five years, which would prevent her from running for president in 2027.
Now a court has announced it will rule on July 7.
