Food VAT will be reduced from 12 to 6 percent on April 1. The reduction will apply until December 31, 2027.
The employment tax credit will be strengthened from January 1, which means reduced tax of approximately SEK 400 per month on an average salary.
For people turning 67 in 2026, and for those older, it will be cheaper to go to the dentist after the new year. The state will cover 90 percent of the costs, for example, fillings and root canals, through a new dental care reimbursement.
Pensioners over the age of 66 also receive reduced tax through an increased basic deduction of approximately SEK 150 per month for an average pensioner.
Increased level for tax-free savings in ISK and in endowment insurance from SEK 150,000 to SEK 300,000 per person.
Abolished interest deduction on unsecured loans: The right to deduct interest on unsecured loans, so-called unsecured loans, will disappear, which, according to the Swedish Tax Agency's assessment, affects 5.8 million people.
The cost limit for housing allowance is being raised, which means higher allowances for families with children with high housing costs.
The stricter mortgage repayment requirement will be removed on April 1 and the mortgage ceiling will be raised from 85 to 90 percent. However, the Riksdag has not yet made the decision.
VAT on tickets for dance events, the "dansbandsmomsen", will be reduced from 25 to 6 percent on July 1.
Conditional release will not be possible until three-quarters of the sentence has been served. The tightening will be introduced gradually and will include sentences of at least six years from the start of the year.
The minimum possible prison sentence is increased to one month.
The repatriation grant will be increased from 10,000 to 350,000 SEK per adult for immigrants who have been granted a residence permit in Sweden for protection reasons.
Uranium mining will once again be allowed in Sweden, but municipalities will still have the option to stop it with a veto.
