A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries on Saturday evening. Police said Sunday morning the man's condition was "stable but serious".
Two men between the ages of 30 and 40 were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and later remanded in custody.
One of them was released on Sunday afternoon, says Ann Öberg at the Public Prosecutor's Office press service.
The suspicions against him have not yet been dropped. The other man remains in custody on probable-cause suspicion of attempted murder.
