"We were alerted by a member of the public who found an injured man in his 30s outdoors in Alby. We can see that the person has been shot. He is now receiving treatment in an ambulance," says police spokesman Daniel Wikdahl.
The man was subsequently taken to the hospital. Police cannot say whether his gunshot wounds are life-threatening, but note that he was conscious when he was found.
It seems that he made it to the place where he was found under his own power, Wikdahl says.
The incident is being investigated as attempted murder and an aggravated weapons offense. The police are otherwise silent, citing an ongoing operation.
According to information provided to Expressen, one person has been arrested, but the police do not want to comment on it.
