Man in His 20s Detained on Suspicion of Rape in Umeå

The suspected crime took place “indoors in a public place” overnight on Sunday. The victim is a woman.

After questioning, prosecutors have decided to detain the man.

“The investigation is ongoing. There is no further information to provide at this time,” police write on their website.
