A man in his 70s died in a single-car accident between Matojärvi and Vuomajärvi in Övertorneå municipality, according to NSD. The man's relatives have been informed, according to the police.
In addition to the deceased man, one person suffered minor injuries in connection with the accident, which occurred at 11:30 am on Friday.
The police announce that they will investigate the accident.
