A man in his 75s has died in an accident with a ride-on lawn mower in Alingsås.
The man was found under the lawn mower. Ambulance personnel performed life-saving measures on him, but he was declared dead at the scene.
How the accident occurred is unclear. The police have initiated a preliminary investigation into causing another person's death.
There is no suspected person in the case. It is a classification so that we can investigate properly and take the investigative measures that are needed, says the police's press spokesperson Jennifer Last.
The ride-on lawn mower is being seized for a technical examination.
The alarm about the accident came at 2 pm on Friday.
