A man has been arrested in central Gothenburg. He himself called the police and stated that he had killed his mother, and when the police arrived at the scene, a woman in her 50s was found seriously injured.
The man was arrested in connection with the address "with blood on his hands", the police write on their website.
The suspected man, who is in his 30s, has been detained on suspicion of attempted murder or manslaughter.
