In the afternoon on Friday, February 14, the head of school in Vansbro municipality sent a message to guardians, stating that the police had informed the school of a person being detained due to serious threats against four schools in the municipality.
On Monday, prosecutor Hanna Emanuelsson confirmed that a man in his twenties had been arrested on probable cause, suspected of unlawful threats.
The threats are said to have been made by phone on February 13, and several parents kept their children home from school on Monday, according to local media reports.
