A 43-year-old man from Denmark has been arrested following the shooting in Nørrebro in central Copenhagen on Thursday, reports Danish Berlingske.
A man in his 40s died and a woman of the same age was injured. The male victim is said to be known from the Danish gang criminal environment, according to Berlingske.
The incident is one in a series of recent escalations of shootings and explosions in Denmark that, according to the police, are connected to each other. As a result of the developments, the Danish police have introduced two visitation zones in Copenhagen.
