The Maldives' president Mohamed Muizzu held a press conference on Saturday that lasted almost 15 hours. This surpassed the earlier record held by Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelenskyj, Muizzu's office claims.
The press conference began at 10 am on Saturday and continued for 14 hours and 54 minutes, with short prayer breaks, according to a statement.
Zelenskyj's record-long press conference took place in October 2019 and lasted 14 hours, according to the Ukrainian state archives at the time.
