Magdalena Andersson is holding the speech at the party office Sveavägen 68 in Stockholm and takes off from the fact that it is soon a year left until the election.
It's time to give our country a new direction.
She says that she is seeking a mandate to become Prime Minister again and gives three promises if the Social Democrats regain power: Equip the military and civilian defense, introduce a Swedish "mafia law" and stop new recruitment to gangs.
"Will be noticed in the wallet"
She also wants Sweden's prosperity to grow.
And it should be noticed in people's wallets and daily lives.
The care deduction should be abolished, a stable financing for healthcare, schools, and care should be secured, a strict migration policy and a requirement-based integration policy should be pursued, she says.
Make sure that more, or all, learn the Swedish language and can get a job.
She also accuses the government of conducting an "unskilled economic policy" by not investing enough in people with lower incomes.
A news item in the speech was that Andersson had given the deputy party secretary Nils Vikmång the task of investigating how the government's work and the Prime Minister's office should function in the event of a change of power.
Order and stability must be ensured, not least after the last three years' many scandals, says Andersson.
"Weak leadership"
Vikmång, for example, points out that different lines have emerged from the government in central issues.
I particularly want to emphasize how serious it is when it has happened in foreign policy - where the government's actions, due to the lack of leadership from the Prime Minister, have sent double signals from Sweden as a country, he says.
He also highlights the twists and turns surrounding the national security adviser, which he believes has contributed to the government becoming "stuck".
When asked if the Social Democrats will abolish the national security adviser if they win the election, Magdalena Andersson replies:
It's not a personal prestige project for me to either build up or tear down anything, but I want us to organize this in the way that is best.
