V leader Nooshi Dadgostar has said that there will be a billionaire tax in the event of a red-green election victory, and claims that it could generate up to 50 billion in revenue for the state.
“It feels like a fantasy sum,” says Andersson, adding that the Social Democrats have no proposals for a billionaire tax.
Interviewers Camilla Kvartoft and Anders Holmberg tried to get an answer on which government the Social Democrats' leader would prefer to see if there is a red-green election victory. They reminded her that a year ago she said she would give a clearer statement on the government issue closer to the election.
But the answers were no more specific than that she could cooperate with everyone, except the Sweden Democrats. She also said that she would be happy to make peace with KD leader Ebba Busch on energy policy, but that KD is further away from S than the red-green parties V, MP and C.
Regarding the Left Party as a possible government partner, the S leader reiterates that the Left Party has "a long journey to go."
And there is little time until the election, says Andersson.
The Left Party has a congress decision to say no to all governments in which V does not have a place, even a government led by Magdalena Andersson. And the Center Party says no to having V in a government. But Magdalena Andersson is sure that things will change after the election, perhaps even red lines. Parties have failed to form governments before, almost without exception.
"It is true that we have managed to take care of the election results and we will do so now as well. No party will get exactly what they want," predicts the S leader.
