"I think it's quite inappropriate. I don't think a band that lends itself to Russian propaganda should be playing in Stockholm right now," says opposition city councilor Christofer Fjellner (M).
Finance City Councilor Karin Wanngård (S) has also reacted ahead of the concert. The City of Stockholm "is in dialogue with the organizer" to ensure that anti-democratic messages are not spread during the concert, she said in a written comment to SVT.
Slaughter To Prevail also played in Gothenburg on Tuesday. Concert organizer Live Nation declined to answer SVT's questions.
