The Liberal Youth Union, Luf, is critical of the shift on the issue of cooperating with the Sweden Democrats that party leader Simona Mohamsson presented on Friday.

"Luf has always been against cooperating with SD. We still are," the union writes on Instagram.

Chairman Anton Holmlund tells Aftonbladet that there is a difference between the Tidö Agreement and allowing SD into government.

They are making a flawed analysis based on the idea that this will somehow solve all of the Liberals' problems. This actually makes us appear even more unclear and unprincipled.

He believes that the decision will have major consequences for the party going forward.

We have already seen the disastrous reactions and effects it has had, with top candidates from several county associations dropping out. If this is not reworked in some way, it will break the party organization.
