Anaheim, with Swedish Leo Carlsson on the team, had an early 3-0 lead away from Chicago in NHL hockey last night, Swedish time. But the home team was able to turn the game around to victory after Connor Bedard's show.

Anaheim had a really strong start in the game against Chicago.

After just 15 seconds, the away team had taken the lead through 21-year-old Cutter Gauthier, and before the first minute of play was over, Anaheim had a two-goal lead after another goal by Olen Zellweger.

With just over ten minutes left in the first period, Chris Kreider extended the lead to 3–0 and it looked like it was going to be a great night for Anaheim. But then the team completely collapsed.

In the second period, Chicago was able to equalize and in the third they pulled away and eventually won 5–3, partly after Connor Bedard, 20, had two goals and two assists.

"After we got a 3-0 lead, we stopped doing what we know we have to do. We suddenly thought we could do whatever we wanted and it cost us," Anaheim coach Joel Qunneville said, according to Aftonbladet.

Leo Carlsson, 20, had an assist in the match.
