London is introducing a new bus line so that the Jewish population in the British capital will feel safer.
The announcement from London's Mayor Sadiq Khan means that two city districts with significant Jewish populations will get a direct line. The reason is that the number of anti-Semitic hate crimes has increased against residents in the two districts Golders Green and Stamford Hill.
The bus line is welcomed by Jewish groups, which have worked for 16 years to get a direct line.
Families have told me that they were afraid of assaults when they changed buses at Finsbury Park, said Mayor Khan in connection with the decision.
