The new sorting plant is to begin construction in 2025, and is expected to be in operation in 2028.

”Our current sorting plant has served us well but it has reached its full lifespan. The new plant is dimensioned to be able to handle larger volumes and adapted to today's operations in terms of work environment and technology”, says Michael Palo, director of the iron ore business area, in a press release.
