A 37-year-old man has been sentenced to life imprisonment after killing a 14-year-old boy with a samurai sword in London.
A handful of other people, including two police officers, were injured in connection with the attack.
The incident occurred at the Hainault subway station in the northeastern outskirts of the British capital at the end of April last year.
The man ran over a pedestrian with his van, after which he stormed out and went on the attack. It was not until after 20 minutes that the police managed to stop the man.
According to the prosecutor, the 37-year-old had suffered a psychosis after taking drugs.
