"We have independent media in Sweden, and it is not the job of politicians to scrutinize the media, so we will not support such a demand," says Malin Danielsson (L), vice chair of the committee.
Thus, the management of public service will not be summoned, according to Danielsson.
"No, I can't see that there is any party other than the Sweden Democrats that wants to summon the management of public service to the committee. This has happened before, and all parties are clear about keeping an arm's-length distance."
At the same time, L has entered into the Sweden Pledge with SD on policies for the next term of office, which includes the principle of arm's-length distance.
"It is for possible government negotiations then," says Danielsson.
