The Liberal Party's national meeting decided in November 2023 that the party would work to allow licensed shops to sell beer, wine and cider as a complement to Systembolaget's sales, but only now is it being presented as a proposal from the party leadership.
The party also wants to allow food trucks to sell opened beer and for Systembolaget to be allowed to sell chilled drinks.
