Liberals: Licensed stores should be able to sell beer, wine and cider

"It's about being able to sell beer at Ica if Ica gets a license," Minister of Labor Johan Britz (L) told the newspaper.

The Liberal Party's national meeting decided in November 2023 that the party would work to allow licensed shops to sell beer, wine and cider as a complement to Systembolaget's sales, but only now is it being presented as a proposal from the party leadership.

The party also wants to allow food trucks to sell opened beer and for Systembolaget to be allowed to sell chilled drinks.
