At last year's national conference, the Liberals voted against allowing the SD into a new government after the next election. Now the Liberals in Gothenburg have agreed to cooperate with the SD.
The decision was made at an annual and membership meeting on Saturday. Around a hundred people attended, writes Dagens Nyheter.
Today we have voted down the red lines. Now we have full freedom to cooperate in every way with all parties, Eva Flyborg, municipal politician in Gothenburg, told TT.
She says the majority in favor of the decision was large.
What will this mean at the national level?
I think there are many who think like us, that both members and our voters do not see the need for these red lines.
Eva Flyborg believes that the Liberals in several municipalities and counties will make similar decisions.
