The slogans heard at Saturday's pride parade in Malmö have prompted strong reactions. Now L wants the Riksdag to call an extraordinary debate to find out whether V can be trusted, L's legal policy spokesman Martin Melin tells TT.
We want to hear formally what V thinks about the Swedish police, he says.
Melin is hopeful that the debate will take place, even though many parliamentary activities are on hiatus over the summer. He points out that only one representative from each party is needed.
It is not entirely unusual to call in members for special debates. Then it is up to the speaker to make a decision, says Melin.
