At the start of the term, the L leader held paid positions on the Gothenburg city council and the Hisingen social committee.

In October 2022, Mohamsson began an internship at the embassy in Amman, Jordan and then took paid employment - but she continued to receive the fee from Gothenburg.

During the year in Jordan, the L leader attended only two of 12 city council meetings and three of 13 social committee meetings, according to TV4.

Only after the media asked questions did Mohamsson repay the money, a total of nearly 106,000 kronor.

I carried out my assignment remotely and have chosen to voluntarily repay the fee for the time I was not present, Mohamsson says.
