The court notes that the man smuggled and transferred 55 kilos of cocaine, which he himself has admitted. He sees no reason to lie to the court and deny when the evidence is convincing, he explained during the trial.

On the other hand, he had hoped for a milder sentence by trying to persuade the court that it was about one and the same batch of narcotics and that it should therefore be seen as one offense.

But the court followed the prosecutor's line and convicted him of five different drug offenses. The evidence is based almost exclusively on chats in the encrypted service Encrochat.

The estimated profit of 10.5 million kronor from the drug sales will be confiscated from the man.

He has also been charged with aggravated smuggling and extremely serious weapons offenses, but he is acquitted of those charges.

Members of Los Suecos have been convicted of two murders on the Spanish coast and the 27-year-old leader has been convicted of aiding and abetting one of the murders.

The Malmö District Court believes that the sentence for the drug offenses he is now convicted of is actually 14 years in prison, but the court takes into account that he has been detained in Spain for a longer period.

The convicted man is a Danish citizen, but came to Sweden at the age of six and has lived a large part of his life here. In 2017, he registered as a resident in Denmark and was registered as having emigrated from Sweden.
