He is nominated for the Bill Masterton Memorial Trophy, the NHL's award to the player who best represents perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to hockey.

On April 23, Landeskog made a celebrated comeback in Colorado. At that time, he had not played since June 26, 2022, when he lifted the Stanley Cup after leading the team to victory over Tampa Bay in the final.

Since then, the 32-year-old has undergone multiple knee operations and rehabilitated in between with the aim of getting back to the sport.

Besides Landeskog, Minnesota's Marc-André Fleury and Columbus' Sean Monahan are nominated.

The winner will be announced in connection with the NHL Awards at the end of the season.
