Kikki Danielsson, Lena Olin, Peter Dalle, Camilla Hamid and Panetoz member Pa Modou Badjie - these are this year's guests in "The Stars at the Castle".
Kikki Danielsson was asked to participate last year, but she had broken her arm and was too limited by the injury.
Is it a better time this year? Even though she was hospitalized with the flu in March and had to cancel her tour, the 76-year-old artist felt that the time was right. And she has her tricks for coping with the recording at Wik Castle outside Uppsala.
"It's all going on here. But I try to squeeze in a little fifteen minutes, 20 minutes of rest, just lie on the bed and breathe," she says.
Was adopted out
“Is there anything about me that people don’t already know?” That was the first question that popped into her head before she decided to say yes. Kikki Danielsson has already spoken openly in the press and in her autobiographies about the painful things in life; how she was adopted out as a five-year-old and about her years as an alcoholic and her sobriety.
"My compass was a little misaligned from the start with the adoption and the divorce and all that. So of course I'm going to tell you about that, even though I've done it three thousand times - but not for these people," she says.
Are there any of the other participants in "The Stars at the Castle" that you are particularly curious about?
"It's me, I've never met any of them, so I have questions for everyone," Kikki Danielsson answers.
Lost muscle mass
You really worried your fans when you were hospitalized in March. Are you okay now?
"Yes, I think so. But now it's time to build myself up. I've lost a lot of muscle mass and am getting thin. And now I'm moving down from a five-room villa to a second-floor apartment - and that's no joke!"
The first program will be broadcast on SVT on January 2.
