Coffee, warm clothes, crosswords, and a little bubbly. That's the recipe for successful camping. But next time, they'll make sure to bring the tent pegs.
How was the night?
Cozy and cold, says Susanne Uhlin.
It's a dedicated group that has chosen to set up a tent camp ahead of Kent's concerts. Both Susanne Uhlin, 55 years old, and Evelina Uhlin, 30 years old, are devoted fans who have traveled from Trollhättan.
Susanne Uhlin felt happy when the news of the spring concerts came. But not all fans have been equally happy about the comeback.
They can come back if they want. I have no problem with that, says she.
Mom's fault
The relationship with Kent is in her backbone, tells Susanne Uhlin.
There's probably not a day when you don't come up with some song or phrase. You scrape the car windows and a song comes up.
She has been a fan for over 20 years – and attended as many concerts. The last one was the farewell tour. Now they will attend five out of six concerts – but whether they will camp every day remains to be seen.
It's mom's fault that I'm here, says Evelina Uhlin.
During her upbringing, Kent was played at home. Evelina herself started listening to the band mainly during her teenage years.
I love Kent. It's a very emotional band when it comes to the music. But I also love the culture around it, camping and meeting people, says she.
"Everything is appreciated"
Evelina expects Kent to deliver "like kings". But the camping fans also have expectations of singer Jocke Berg's dance – he has special moves to the songs.
Evelina Uhlin hopes that some more synth-heavy songs from the albums "Röd" and "Tillbaka till samtiden" are included in the repertoire.
But everything is appreciated. "Romeo returns alone" I'm looking forward to, since they had it in the video.
They can play whatever they want, as long as they're here, says Susanne Uhlin, but adds a wish:
"The man in the white hat" they must have as the final song, otherwise I'm going home, she says and laughs.
