Bik Karlskoga has been hit by a goalkeeper crisis. It did not get any smaller when the hastily borrowed emergency solution William Kias made a real blunder and let in a shot from half the field.

Bik Karlskoga lost away to Nybro with 1–4 in a match that offered a proper goalkeeper display.

In the move that started the third period, the puck went slowly towards Bik goalkeeper William Kias – and all the way into the goal. Kias would try to pass the puck on to one of the defenders, but missed with the club and let in a comical goal.

Nybro's Elias Stenman was credited with the goal.

Kias comes in today and makes a great match, stands on his head at times and stands up very well. What happens is a mistake, plain and simple. That kind of thing happens, it's just to forget and move on, says Bik forward Gustaf Franzén to TV4 Play.

Bik Karlskoga lacked three goalkeepers, injured Trym Gran and Lars Volden and Olof Lindbom who are both sick.

William Kias therefore had to be borrowed from Lindlöven.

Bik Karlskoga fell to sixth place in the table and Nybro is in fourth place.

AIK, all-Swedish finalist in the spring, took their fifth straight win and climbed to fifth place after 5–3 at home against Troja-Ljungby.

Series-leading Modo is slightly sharper and took their sixth straight win, 4–3 at home against Mora. Last season's SHL team leads and is one point ahead of rival Björklöven.

The duo will meet in the next round, on Friday in Umeå.
