Due to the Eurovision rules, the Finnish-Swedish humor group must adapt their number for the competition, according to Swedish Yle's video podcast.
In Melodifestivalen, the group had four dancers on stage and a backing vocalist in the wings. Both one of the dancers and the backing vocalist are now forced to stay at home, since according to the Eurovision rules, only six people are allowed on stage.
We have three dancers who also sing well, so they will sing along in the chorus while dancing, says Jakob Norrgård to Yle.
The sauna must also be rebuilt into a simpler construction, since no stage technicians can be on site. Now, it's up to the dancers to set up the sauna building. Moreover, it's unclear what will happen to the fir trees.
Partly, they're doing something incredible, and partly, I don't know where we'll get fresh fir trees in Switzerland in May, says Norrgård.
Sweden's representative in the Eurovision Song Contest has been given start number six in the competition's first semifinal, on May 13.
