Felling wedges are used when felling trees to control the direction of the tree's fall.
The "Meec Tool" brand felling wedges are being recalled because they lack strength and can break when they are hit into the trunk. This can cause the tree to fall in a different direction.
The recalled folding wedges are 14 and 20 cm long and have article numbers 011540 and 011542, respectively. Jula sold the products during the period 2020-January 2025, writes the Swedish Consumer Agency.
Consumers are urged to immediately stop using these traps and return them for a refund.
