Sundling won by just over six seconds, with Frida Karlsson taking silver and Ebba Andersson bronze.
"It's really cool. The conditions were tough out there today, so it felt like we kept a little distance and made the best of the situation," Sundling told SVT.
The top trio had a large gap down to the second group, with Moa Lundgren and Linn Svahn finishing fourth and fifth.
On the last hill, Sundling was able to hit the ground running with her classic jump skate and decided the race. At the same time, Karlsson pulled the longest straw in the fight with Andersson and finished one-tenth of a second ahead of her national team colleague after a sprint duel.
"My body is tired, but I'm happy that I managed to bring a medal home to Sollefteå," Karlsson said.
