Minister of Education Johan Pehrson (The Liberals) is one of those who has ventured out into traffic ahead of Midsummer Eve. On Thursday, he was involved in a car accident on E18 in Västerås, reports Vestmanlands Läns Tidning.
But there was no great danger. According to the newspaper, the outgoing party leader was rear-ended in a fender bender and according to the rescue service, it has not been a serious accident.
"It is true that Johan Pehrson has been rear-ended, but he is doing well and has no injuries", writes his press spokesperson Elin Olofsson in a text message to Expressen.
In VLT's pictures, the minister is seen standing by the side of the road with the phone in his hand, inspecting the damage to the two vehicles involved.
