Swedish Jesper Bratt scored the last goal of the match when New Jersey crushed Minnesota with 4–1 at home in their sixth straight win.

Last season, Jesper Bratt became the Swedish scoring leader in NHL with an impressive 88 points in the regular season. How it will be with that matter this season remains to be seen, but after Wednesday's match, he is a bit on the way to getting there again. Currently, he has eleven points, of which four goals and seven assists.

When his New Jersey met Minnesota on Wednesday evening, there was no question about which team dominated. The home team was uncontested for most of the match and when five minutes of the third period had passed, it led 3–0.

Minnesota's Matt Boldy finally managed, thanks to an assist from Swedish Joel Eriksson Ek, to score a goal in the 11th minute, but a few minutes later, Bratt saw to it that New Jersey expanded and secured the sixth straight win.

You can't catch Jack (Hughes) or (Jesper) Bratt, the two are flying. That's how they play and they're really good at it, says Matt Boldy after the loss according to nhl.com.

Despite the loss, Minnesota's goalkeeper and Swede Filip Gustavsson can still comfort himself with the fact that he made 31 saves.

Corrected: In an earlier version, the wrong first name was given for Joel Eriksson Ek
